Arriving on 25 December in Swiss Pathé cinemas, “Me contro Te - Cattivissimi a Natale” (Very Wicked at Christmas), the first Christmas film by the well-known YouTubers Luì and Sofì, known to their fans as Me contro Te. For these two young people, who have always kept a youthful spirit, Christmas is the most magical celebration of the year, and it could hardly be otherwise.
After exploring various film genres, Luigi Calagna and Sofia Scalia decided to tackle the theme of Christmas in an original way, moving closer to the strand of family comedies that has proved so successful in the United States. Unlike our own traditions, where the holiday comedy is a real classic, the States have always produced carefully crafted family films, marked by stories of redemption, touching moments and children as the main characters. The Me contro Te set out to replicate this model, and they seem to have succeeded.
The storyline of “Cattivissimi a Natale” unfolds at the North Pole, more precisely in Santa's village, recreated just as everyone imagines it: snow-covered landscapes and the lively house of Santa Claus, where the elves are busy preparing presents and arranging parcels. But a scheming elf named Zenzero, with red hair and a mischievous smile, has a big prank in mind, aimed at his own boss.
Zenzero starts sowing chaos by turning up at Luì and Sofì's house while they are decorating for the holidays. Suddenly Signor S. (Pierpaolo Zizzi), who deeply hates Christmas, also finds himself at the North Pole in unexpected circumstances. Making matters worse, Perfidia (Antonella Carone) appears, accompanied by her daughter Velenia, ready to prove just how wicked she can be.
