Each window reveals a surprise, with fragrances and formulas for the mise en beauté. Such as Mirto di Panarea, Rosa Nobile Crema Corpo and Magnolia Nobile Hair Mist. Or Osmanthus, Yuzu and Quercia, essences from the Signatures of the Sun collection. For the evening of 24 December, the Notte di Stelle candle of 70 g and, on the first and last day, Colonia, symbol of Italian style. Among the surprises there is also a small ceramic featuring the collection's original pattern, to scent and to use as home decor.
Baron Carlo Magnani, a man of great elegance and refinement, heir to an aristocratic family from Parma, gave life to an unusually fresh and modern fragrance, an interpreter of his lifestyle. Already in the early years of the 20th century he travelled a great deal and moved among the epicentres of culture: Paris, London and New York. On his long journeys, his thoughts always turned to his homeland and its warmth. Parma at the time was a global reference for fragrances in Italy, and so the idea was born of a perfume created on the basis of his own very personal tastes. A perfume to be appreciated by relatives and friends, which was to be a true declaration of love for Italy. “He called it Acqua di Parma because it was a water (colognes and waters shared a common history) and ‘di Parma’ because his roots were here, what he loved deeply. A city steeped in culture and history, in those years very close to the French world,” explains Laura Burdese.
