“The national team jersey represents the passion and the desire for victory,” explains Giorgio Chiellini, captain of the national team, during the presentation conference, “and wearing it is a unique emotion, a surge of pride that drives us to always give our best. Perfect for dressing our ambition and the dreams of our millions of fans around the world.” With the ambition of making its mark in international tournaments, here is the rebirth of the Italian team of Roberto Mancini.

The jersey too draws inspiration from the Italian Renaissance, the era that shaped the culture of art and architecture (ancient Romans aside), with a fantastic new motif built into the design, blending the classic identity with a modern design. There is a desire to celebrate the Italian influence on world culture. David Bremond, Head of Product at Puma, declared: “During the Renaissance, Italy was the epicentre of creativity and innovation. Italy did not just influence the world, it redefined it. We want to celebrate this era and create a kit dedicated to Italy's most important cultural period. The floral Renaissance motifs represent the universal beauty that was created in Italy to inspire the world's lifestyle through an unpredictable creativity.”

The jersey features the “Puma thermoregulation technology”, which provides an optimised moisture-management system to keep body temperature at a perfect level. Combined with laser-cut perforations on the front and engineered jacquard on the back.
The contest closes on Saturday 26/06/2021 at 12.00 pm. Up for grabs: 3 national team jerseys, 1 for every match won. The winner can choose the size and colour of the desired jersey (blue or green).
