GENEVA, DEC 9TH – Laura Pausini, the most beloved Italian artist in Switzerland, delivered a memorable concert last night at Arena in Geneve, where the audience enjoyed a perfect and unforgettable experience that will stay in the memory of all those who attended. The Italian artist dazzled with a top-tier stage setup, reaffirming her status as a global music icon.

Last night’s concert was part of the Winter World Tour 2024, an extension of her worldwide tour that started two years ago and will conclude on December 31 with a New Year's Eve show in Messina, after more than 80 concerts across Europe, the United States, and Latin America. This tour, designed as a celebration of her 30-year career, has been recognized for its artistic quality and for breaking records of sold-out shows in several countries.

The central theme of the show was music and the passing of time, a concept Laura Pausini developed through three distinct blocks, leading the audience on an immersive journey through her career and personal evolution. A journey defined by music but also accompanied by significant reflections and a firm commitment to the social causes Laura has always passionately supported.

The first act represented the present, featuring a selection of songs from her latest album, Anime Parallele, among those her latest single CIAO, written among others by Sam Smith and Fraser T. Smith. The second part projected all attendees toward the   future, which is recognizable by its strong dynamism, while, eventually, the last act is focused on the past and revisited her most iconic songs, like “Strani amori” or “La solitudine” filled with the same energy and passion that have defined her since the beginning.

Throughout all three blocks, the artistic direction of Luca Tommassini and Laura Pausini herself, and the stage design by Fabio Novembre transformed the stage into a visual masterpiece, while the music came to life under the direction of Paolo Carta, accompanied by a band, backing vocalists, and top-tier dancers.

The concert in Geneve was a true celebration, a perfect reflection of what this tour has been: two years of encounters filled with music, joy, and emotion, yet still leaving space for moments of profound reflection. True to her commitment to social themes that have marked her career, Laura has turned every show into a platform to amplify important causes. Last night, once again, after performing Yo Sí, the song that earned her a Golden Globe, she delivered a powerful message about gender violence that resonated strongly with the audience:

"Too many women are still victims of abuse and violence. This must stop. I want to tell all the women here that you are not alone. Seek help, raise your voice, and know that there is always someone willing to support you."

The artist also took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of unity and hope in difficult times, reminding everyone that music can be a bridge that brings us closer and drives us to act. With this in mind, she addressed global issues like climate change and human rights, reaffirming her unwavering commitment to these causes:

"Music has the power to unite us and remind us that we are capable of changing the world. Today, more than ever, we need this strength."

The concert in Geneva not only met but exceeded all expectations, receiving a huge ovation from all attendees. Laura Pausini once again created a unique experience, a perfect combination of talent, emotion, and flawless production that will be remembered by those present.

The Winter World Tour 2024 continues its journey. It will follow its concert schedule across Europe, before heading toward its grand finale on December 31st in Messina, closing two years of unforgettable successes and celebrations.
