Forty years of career, twenty-five years of "Quello che non c'è" and over 100,000 spectators on their last tour: Afterhours arrive in Switzerland for the first time with an exclusive date in Zurich. Tuttoitalia.ch is proud to present this event as official media partner of the tour.

There is a date that Italian rock fans in Switzerland should mark on their calendar right now: 26 January 2027, Volkshaus Zurich. Afterhours come to play live in Switzerland for the first time, and the Zurich stop is the only date of the entire European tour.

Two anniversaries, a tour not to be missed

The "Quello che non c'è – Tour 2027" was created to celebrate two extraordinary milestones in the history of the Milanese band: 40 years since the release of their first single "My Bit Boy" (1987) and 25 years of the album "Quello che non c'è" (2002), the record that definitively established them at the centre of the Italian rock scene, debuting at number two in the FIMI chart.

That album, with its dark and introspective atmospheres, with lyrics that spoke of disillusionment and existential unease, has lost none of its power. On the contrary, twenty-five years later it sounds more relevant than ever. As Manuel Agnelli said at the time of its release: the world is awful and it must be said without too many smiles. Words that seem written today.

Who Afterhours are

Founded in 1986 by Manuel Agnelli, Afterhours are one of the most important and enduring bands in Italian rock. Voice, guitar and soul of the group, Agnelli is flanked by Andrea Viti on bass, Dario Ciffo on violin and guitar, Giorgio Prette on drums and Giacomo Rossetti as multi-instrumentalist. A solid line-up that has crossed forty years of music while always keeping its artistic identity intact.

2025 saw them star in a sold-out tour across Italy for the twentieth anniversary of "Ballate per piccole iene", with over 100,000 spectators. An extraordinary success that confirms their central role in the Italian music scene and makes the "Quello che non c'è – Tour 2027" even more anticipated. Now they set off again, with a new chapter.

The European tour

Before arriving in Zurich, the tour will touch Amsterdam, Brussels, London, Montreuil, Berlin and Nonantola. After Switzerland, the tour will continue in the main Italian cities until the closing night in Milan at the Alcatraz on 24 February 2027.
