Zurich is getting ready to welcome a music event of great prestige: on 27 February 2025 the Volkshaus will host “The Billy Joel Songbook”, an exceptional show that celebrates the music of Billy Joel through the masterly interpretation of Elio Pace and his band.
The talented singer and pianist Elio Pace, already appreciated for his collaborations with artists of the calibre of Amy Winehouse and Queen, returns to Zurich after the success of his 2024 concert to offer the Swiss public a new and thrilling tribute to the legendary American songwriter. Together with his exceptional band, Pace will retrace Joel's vast discography, performing more than 30 timeless hits, including “The Longest Time”, “She's Always a Woman”, “An Innocent Man”, “Uptown Girl”, “Tell Her About It”, “The River of Dreams”, “We Didn't Start the Fire” and of course “Piano Man”.
Pace does not hide his emotion at this return: “It is an honour to be invited once again to the Volkshaus in Zurich. We remember the warm welcome of the audience with pleasure and we cannot wait to come back to share the magic of Billy Joel's Songbook one more time.”
