There is one thing NEK does better than anyone else: connecting with people. Not just with his voice, not just with his songs, but with that authentic presence, that rare ability to make every person in the room feel as if they were experiencing something personal, intimate, their own. And so it was this time too, in Switzerland, over two evenings that left their mark.
Saturday 11 April / X-Tra, Zurich
The first stop was Zurich, at the X-Tra, one of the most beloved venues of the Zurich live scene. A space that knows how to be intimate even when it is full, and that night it was full. The city's Italian audience, but not only, responded with overwhelming enthusiasm, filling the hall and turning every song into a collective choir.
NEK went through the best of a very long career, that of an artist who since 1992 has accompanied the lives of Italians with songs that have become part of the emotional landscape of entire generations. Laura non c'è, Lascia che io vada, Se io non avessi te, Almeno stavolta: every title announced from the stage triggered immediate reactions, as if that song belonged to each person in a different and personal way. Because this is NEK's gift: writing songs that feel like your own memories. On stage, Filippo Neviani once again proved himself a complete artist, guitar, voice, energy, able to move naturally between the most delicate ballads and the most rhythmic tracks, without ever losing that direct line with those watching him.

Sunday 12 April / Bierhübeli, Bern
The next day, NEK was already in Bern. The Bierhübeli, a historic venue in the Swiss capital, with that warm and intimate atmosphere that makes it unique, hosted a second, equally intense evening. The even cosier setting of the Bern venue helped create an even more direct connection between artist and audience, almost a musical conversation between two.
Those who chose to follow NEK on both dates, and there were some who did, could see how every concert has its own soul, its own rhythm, its unrepeatable moments. The same setlist, of course, but different emotions, because a live show can never truly be replicated. The Italian community in Switzerland, which in recent years has learned to expect little from the presence of great Italian artists in the country, this time had its weekend. And what a weekend.

NEK, thirty years and not feeling them
Filippo Neviani debuted very young and has never stopped. Across the decades he has known how to reinvent himself without betraying who he is, maintaining an artistic and human coherence that the public continues to recognise and reward. These two Swiss concerts are the confirmation: you do not need big stadiums to understand his class. Sometimes a full room, a guitar and that unmistakable voice are enough.
To those who were there: thank you for sharing the emotion with us. To those who were not: keep an eye on tuttoitalia.ch. When NEK returns, we will be the first to tell you.
