Mario Biondi, the Italian guest at Jazznojazz 2023
For almost twenty years the king of Italian soul Mario Biondi, with his dark and smoky voice, has crossed the swing of Broadway, R'n'B, soul and funk. Lou Rawls and Isaac Hayes are among his idols, but Al Jarreau and Chaka Khan too, like Biondi, had a soft spot for the sweet sounds of the 1970s. Five years after his last Jazznojazz concert, the Italian Barry White closes this year's festival. Grande Mario.
