Enzo Ghinazzi, known to everyone as Pupo, an Italian singer, lyricist, television presenter, writer and voice actor. Pupo’s arrival in Switzerland is getting closer and closer. The Tuscan singer-songwriter will first be at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano on Thursday 24 February and then at the Volkshaus in Zurich on Friday 25 February for two concerts that will celebrate the 40 years of “Su di noi”, one of the songs that have marked his career.
On the occasion of the 2022 tour, “it will not only be about music, as he states in an interview, but also about my personal story, which in some way has also importantly marked my entire career. Attending one of my shows is a sort of journey through my life. And there will be everything that concerns me, both as a singer and as a person, for the choices I have made, sometimes even very questionable ones.”
The show is called “40 anni... Su di noi”. The song has now turned 40, because it was released in 1980, but “40 anni” also means everything that has happened not only to the singer, but also to the people who have been involved over these years in Italian society. It will therefore be a journey through four decades of personal and collective history, with a soundtrack made up of tracks such as “Forse”, “Gelato al cioccolato”, “Cosa farai”, “Firenze Santa Maria Novella”, “Un amore grande” and, of course, “Su di noi”.
